The infrastructure includes full breadth of equipments for expression, purification & testing of recombinant proteins in microbial systems. Fermenters, shaker incubators, tangential flow system, magnetically-stirred SS mixing vessels and chromatography equipments are qualified and available for bio-processing.
Quality Control laboratories for Bio-chemical analysis, Instrumentation, Microbiology, Bioassay, Stability & Sterility testing are part of the setup. Clean utilities like Water-for-injection and HEPA-fitted HVAC are provided to support the cGMP operations.
Levim is investing in a new biologics drug substance manufacturing plant at Thiruporur, 40 km south of Chennai, Tamilnadu. The facility shall be operational in 2024 and shall provide Levim with substantial capacities and enable enhanced access to export markets
